[status update: mea culpa]
The site has been very slow overnight – sorry, my fault entirely. Should be fixed now.
(for those who are interested … I had changed the default debian configuration to limit the webserver to 1/7 the normal number of clients. This is an excellent way of preventing the server crashing under high load, and was more than enough for the site. Until last night. I misjudged how many people would be interested in this site, how quickly :))

The Structure of this Site is some kind of chaotic. Why is there no Presentation or even a Link. For Example what “airfoil” is about? Here is just disscussion about the rejection progress not about the sorted or even orderd summary of apps that are been rejected, I wanna know more which apps are complete rejected with a exact count. And please for each app a short version for the reasons. If this will happens then BIG THANKS, but if not better close this site cause it’s not really that clean informationpool people expect when they follow the links till here…

FYI – It’s 11/28 @ approximately 1:30pm CST and your site is still chugging.

Yes – things were gradually dropping off, and then a few hours ago the traffic jumped again.
I’ve already spoken to my hosting company about shifting this smoothly over to a new server, which should be fine. Normally this takes less than a day, but I’m still waiting :(. Nevertheless, it should be very soon…

@christoph -
I’m one of the people who “[followed] the links till here,” and I’m quite satisfied with the “informationpool” even though, as you pointed out, it’s not what I “[expected].”
Just wanted to put my vote in *against* shutting the site down even though cristoph’s argument is compelling.
I guess I think the risk of having a web site that doesn’t perfectly suit some random whiner’s preconceived notions about what it ought to be isn’t quite enough of a reason to shut it down.
The rest of the web does, of course, provide us all exactly what we want when we want it in the form we were expecting before even looking at the site in question, so a great disservice *has* been done to the universe.
But… keep going, I say. I find this entertaining.
However, when not here, I, like christoph, spend most of my time going around advising people to shut their sites down for the good of humanity. I mean… what if the internet were, like, this big global thing that could be easily accessed and where people could easily put up sites about whatever they wanted without first consulting christoph? Can you imagine what kind of a mess it would be?
Hopefully someone, someday, will come up with a means of helping people find certain sites based on user-specified search criteria. Until then, I think we all ought to hunker down and prepare for the worst, which is that five seconds of time lost to looking at a site, realizing it’s not what you want, and then moving on.
Sigh.
